5 Saisons. When the 5 Saisons stores were being renovated and re-branded, the management came to us for a new design for their uniforms. We were given almost no direction as to what they wanted, except that the new concept would be a high-end grocery store. We presented them with 3 options and ended up supplying a hybrid uniform from the 3 presentation boards offered.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of Disneyland (May 5, 2005), we were asked to design and develop a souvenir jacket for the event with an intricate embroidery design that included many of the classic Disney characters. The result was a basic black jacket in easy-care microfiber which would showcase the embroidery design optimally. We added the famous ‘’Mickey ears’’ hat in gold to dovetail with the golden anniversary.
For ESPN, we were asked to design a small, coordinated line of tops targeted to a male 18-35 demographic for their retail locations. The retail space would be limited, and our challenge was to create a grouping of merchandise that would stand out among the other merchandise- the final product was 2 knit polo shirts and a packable wind shirt.
When we had our initial meeting with the Sandals Resorts group, we were allotted 20 minutes to give our presentation. How were we going to show hundreds of promotional products that would be of benefit to their operation in 20 minutes? We prepared story boards showcasing pertinent merchandise and how to apply them to their properties. This made their understanding of the scope of products we can offer much easier to make their purchasing decisions.
